bncordeiro asked: In a previous response you wrote that Stan Lee is "...certainly the most well-known comic book creator, the person that somebody from outside of our industry is most likely to recognize." I'm a huge Stan Lee fan (meeting him oh so briefly at Boston Comic Con back in August was a major bucket list moment) but who would you consider to be the second most well-known comic book creator? Who would you pick as the next most recognizable "somebody from outside our industry" alive and/or passed?
That’s a very good question. These days, Joe Quesada maybe.
Dude! Sergio Aragonés!
I think Neil would rather be recognized as “somebody from outside our industry”.
By sight or reputation? Sight is tough…. But rep I agree Mr. Miller
Alan Moore or Grant Morrison?

devigoblins liked this Neil Gaiman seems like the right answer, actually.

Jack Kirby?
Niel Gaiman surely would be up there

While we do not agree on Neil, I still think you are a friend. But I do not agree.
Sorry guys, it would have to be Frank Miller.
…Rob Liefeld? He did that Gap commercial! Matt Fraction was on a talk show that one time. Netflix is now the Marvel...
